How it works
Copy the VOD link
On Twitch, open the channel's Videos tab and copy the link to a past broadcast. Streams up to 12 hours long work.
Paste it into the dashboard
Pick the Twitch or Kick tile, paste the link and press Go. It reads the length first, so you see the price before anything runs.
Pick clips, shape and captions
Choose how many clips, 9:16 for TikTok, Shorts and Reels, and up to four caption styles. Every clip comes back once in each style.
Download and post
Grab clips one at a time or all together, then post them on your own accounts.
How long a stream takes
We pasted a 4.6-hour Twitch broadcast and got 5 finished clips back in 29 minutes. About 16 of those minutes were spent downloading the recording, so a shorter stream comes back faster. You can close the tab; the clips wait in your dashboard.
What a stream costs
You pay per minute of video, in credits (1 credit = 1 cent). The free plan tops your balance up to 1,250 credits every month, which covers one 5-hour stream.
| Video length | Price | In dollars |
|---|---|---|
| 1 hour | 250 credits | $2.50 |
| 4 hours | 970 credits | $9.70 |
| 5 hours (fits the free plan) | 1,210 credits | $12.10 |
| 8 hours | 1,930 credits | $19.30 |
Base price for one video. Pro takes half off. Each extra caption style adds 25 credits, and the dashboard shows the exact price before anything runs.
What it does to each clip
- Finds moments that make sense without the rest of the stream, instead of chopping the VOD into equal pieces.
- Starts and ends every clip on a whole sentence, so nothing opens mid-word.
- Keeps the speaker in the frame when it reframes a wide shot to vertical.
- Burns in karaoke-style captions that light up word by word.
- Never puts the same sentence in two clips.
Clip streams you are allowed to clip
Many streamers want clips and run clip programs that pay per view; others do not allow it. Join a program or ask first, read its rules, and credit the streamer the way the rules ask. Our guide to how clippers get paid covers the programs and the rules that get clips rejected.
