Free music for creators

Free music for your Shorts, TikToks and Reels

Synestia, from the team behind legit2clip, has a free library of 12,527 AI-made songs you can put under your Shorts, TikToks, Reels, streams and podcasts, monetized ones included. No account, no fee, no form: download a song and credit it in your description.

How it works

1

Pick a song

Browse the library by genre and mood. Under someone talking, pick an instrumental; for montages and edits, a song with vocals works.

2

Download it

Every song page has a Download button. No account needed.

3

Credit it

Put "Music: <title> — Synestia (synestia.bot)" in your description. The Copy credit button next to Download writes it for you.

4

Post

On YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or anywhere else, monetized or not.

Why Shorts with popular songs get claimed

Most commercial songs are registered with content-ID systems, so a Short that uses one can be claimed: the revenue goes to the rights holder, or the video gets muted or blocked in some countries.

The songs in this library aren't registered with any content-ID service, and the licence forbids anyone else from registering them. That is the point of the library: music you can actually keep under your videos.

What's in the library

12,527 songs as of October 17, 2026, in 25 genres. 1,236 are instrumentals; the rest have vocals, from rap to choir.

Instrumentals to start with

A few of the highest-rated instrumentals, each a page with a player, a Download button and the credit line ready to copy:

The licence, in plain words

  • Use any library song in your own videos, streams, podcasts and clips, on any platform, monetized ones included.
  • Credit every song: "Music: <title> — Synestia (synestia.bot)" in the description. Where there's no description, put it in the caption or on screen.
  • Don't sell or distribute a song on its own (as a track, on streaming services or in sample packs), don't register it with a content-ID service, and don't present it as your own composition.
  • The full licence is section 5a of the Synestia Terms, summarized on synestia.bot/free-music.

Music under talking: keep it low

  • Pick an instrumental; vocals fight the voice for attention.
  • Keep the music well under the speech. If people turn the sound on and can't follow the words, it's too loud.
  • Fade the music in and out instead of cutting it.
  • Burned-in captions carry the message for everyone watching with the sound off, which on Shorts is a lot of people.

Questions

Is it really free for monetized videos?

Yes. Monetized videos, streams and podcasts are covered, as long as you credit the song.

Do I need an account?

No. Open a song, press Download, copy the credit line.

Can I use it on TikTok and Instagram?

Yes, on any platform. Put the credit in the caption if there's no description field.

Are the songs AI-generated?

Yes. Synestia made them. Nobody else's song is in the library unless its creator opted it in.

Can I get a song made for my video?

Yes: describe it on synestia.bot and it writes and produces one. A few renders a day are free.
