Go to /signup and choose Continue with Discord. One account works across legit2clip, legit2cloud and legit2compute.
Signing in with Discord, Google, GitHub or Twitch puts you on the free plan: 5 hours of video every month. At the start of each month your balance is topped up to 1,250 credits (it doesn't stack), and clips made without Pro carry a small legit2clip.com watermark. Email sign-up needs a confirmation email first, and the free credits come only with a Discord, Google, GitHub or Twitch sign-in.
Pick a video, choose the shape and captions, check the price and start. The How to Use tab walks through each step.
Upload a file up to 2 GB, pick one straight from Google Drive or Dropbox, or paste the link to a Twitch or Kick past broadcast (up to 12 hours). Links from other sites, YouTube included, aren't open yet: download the video and upload the file.
Vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Shorts and Reels, Square 1:1 for the feed, or Landscape 16:9 for YouTube.
Pick from 11 caption styles; each tile shows how it will look on the video. You can pick up to four styles on one job (each extra style is 25 credits). Language is detected automatically, or choose English, Spanish or French.
Under Advanced: how many clips (leave it at 0 and the AI decides) and how long each can run (50 to 70 seconds by default; cuts snap to whole sentences). Transcript only skips the clips.
Before anything runs you see the exact price in credits. Confirm, and the job starts.
The progress card shows each stage: transcribing, picking the moments, cutting the clips and burning the captions. In our demo, a 17-minute talk took about seven minutes from start to finish.
The results page plays every clip, lets you download each one, and shows why each moment was picked, with the transcript. Download your clips when they're ready: finished files aren't kept forever.
On the Reaction page, pick the video you want to react to, describe who is reacting (or start from a preset), choose how many moments (2 to 5) and a caption style, add your sign-off, and make it. It picks the moments, writes a reaction to what was actually said, voices it, and cuts it together with captions. A reaction costs the same as clipping that video.
You pay per job, in credits, and 1 credit = 1¢. There is no monthly quota, and no subscription is needed (Pro, below, is optional).

Studio is free until Oct 31: sign in with Discord and you can use the Studio editor without Pro until the end of Oct 31. Jobs you run there bill your credits at the normal price, and the watermark stays unless you have Pro.
Get it on the Pro page. Cancel there any time: Pro stays on to the end of the month you paid for. Pro is on your account, so one Pro covers legit2clip and legit2cloud, and checkout shows it as legit2cloud Studio Pro.
Buy them on the Credits page. Your balance is shared across legit2clip, legit2cloud and legit2compute, so credits bought on one work on all three.
Card payments go through Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

Clips made without Pro carry a small legit2clip watermark. Buying credits doesn't remove it: credits pay for processing, and Pro ($19/month) is what removes the watermark.
A job your balance can't cover won't start. Buy a pack on the Credits page and start it again.
Its credits are refunded to your balance.
Your uploads are only used to make your clips. We never sell your data or share your content for marketing. Download your clips when they're ready: finished files aren't kept forever.
