4. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect solely to:

• Provide the Service: Process your videos, generate clips, deliver downloads
• Manage Your Account: Authentication, password resets, account settings
• Process Payments: Handle subscriptions and purchases through Stripe
• Send Service Emails: Job completion notifications, important updates (no marketing spam)
• Improve the Service: Fix bugs, improve performance (using aggregated, anonymized data only)
• Legal Compliance: Respond to valid legal requests when required by law

5. Your Videos & Content

1. Upload: Your video is uploaded to our secure processing servers
2. Process: Our AI analyzes and creates clips (typically 5-30 minutes)
3. Deliver: Download links are made available to you
4. Delete: Original video and clips are automatically deleted within 7 days or immediately after you delete them

We never:

• View your video content manually (processing is automated)
• Use your videos to train AI models
• Share your videos with third parties
• Keep copies after the retention period

6. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use only essential cookies required for the service to function:

• Session Cookie: Keeps you logged in during your visit
• Security Cookie: Prevents cross-site request forgery

We do NOT use:

• Tracking cookies
• Third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.)
• Advertising cookies
• Social media tracking pixels

7. Third-Party Services

We use a minimal number of third-party services:

Stripe (Payment Processing)

We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe handles your payment information directly—we never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Email Delivery

We use email services to send you account notifications. These services only receive your email address and message content necessary for delivery.

8. Data Security

We protect your data with:

• Encrypted storage for sensitive data

12. International Users

Legit2Clip is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the service, you consent to this transfer.

We make reasonable efforts to comply with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR for EU users.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:
