1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Legit2Clip ("Service"), operated by Legit2Click LLC, a Missouri limited liability company, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Legit2Clip is an AI-powered video clipping service that:

• Analyzes videos you submit to identify engaging segments
• Creates short-form clips optimized for social media
• Adds captions and formatting to your clips
• Provides download links for your processed content

3. Our Privacy Commitment

We built this service with privacy as a core principle:

• Minimal Data Collection: We only collect information necessary to provide the Service (email for account, payment info for billing)
• No Data Sales: We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes
• No Tracking: We do not use tracking cookies, analytics that follow you across sites, or behavioral profiling
• Temporary Storage: Your videos and clips are stored only for the duration needed to process and deliver them
• Automatic Deletion: Processed content is automatically deleted after you download it or within 7 days, whichever comes first
• No AI Training: Your content is never used to train AI models or for any purpose beyond fulfilling your processing request

4. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must:

• Create an account with a valid email address
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Process content you don't have the legal right to use
• Create illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious files
• Attempt to access other users' content or accounts
• Circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to abuse the Service
• Create content that exploits or endangers minors
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Content Ownership & Rights

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to videos you upload and clips we create from them. We claim no ownership over your content.

License to Process: By uploading content, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process, analyze, and transform your videos solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when your content is deleted.

Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal rights to upload and process any content you submit. This includes copyright, trademark, privacy rights, and any other applicable rights.

7. Payment Terms

• Free Tier: Demo users receive limited processing minutes at no cost
• Pay-As-You-Go: Minutes are purchased in advance and do not expire
• Subscriptions: Monthly plans auto-renew unless cancelled before the billing date
• Refunds: Unused prepaid minutes may be refunded at our discretion within 30 days of purchase
• Currency: All prices are in US Dollars (USD)
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

• Perform scheduled or emergency maintenance
• Modify, update, or discontinue features
• Limit processing capacity during periods of high demand

We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes or scheduled downtime.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• AI-generated results will be 100% accurate
• Any defects will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LEGIT2CLICK LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Loss of content or corrupted files
• Business interruption
• Cost of substitute services

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Legit2Click LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload or create using the Service

12. Account Termination

By You: You may delete your account at any time through the account settings or by contacting us.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or for any other reason at our discretion with reasonable notice.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Most disputes can be resolved through direct communication.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
• Sending an email notification for significant changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Legit2Click LLC regarding the Service
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them freely
